Tired of the lack of intake options for your 2003-2009 Black and Silver Yamaha motor package? Now you have one. This RMS airbox is made just like the rest of the RMS line, the way YOU want. This box is machined to use a Randy's air filter providing excellent airflow to your motor above the base plate and is legal for turf tire racing by using all factory parts below it. Factory velocity stacks and factory throttle body boots are retained by precision machined bosses and recesses in both the base and mounting plates to ensure everything lines up the way it should (we don't want those rubber boots or stacks squishing down and narrowing the intake opening). The mount plate is made from much more substantial material, gone is the flimsy sheet metal stock stamping.

And finally, for those who wish to run an injection cover, a mounting bracket is included which mounts between the injection boot mounting plate and base plate, and hardware to mount the injection cover IS included.

**The Black and Silver Yamahas have two different throttle body sizes, with two different throttle body boot sizes. There is NO DIFFERENCE other than the boot I.D.. Select which boot size you need included. Alternatively, if you already have boots and want to use them, please select to not include the boots.

As with anything RMS produces, parts are made for you, not pulled off a shelf. If you desire a color not listed, unique milling on the lid (your race number?) or fit for a different filter, contact us before ordering.
